Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Omnitae collects, why it is used, and how user content may be processed when you ask the product to build, tailor, analyze, export, or share a resume.
Information you provide
- Account information, such as name, email address, authentication method, and security settings.
- Resume and career information, such as personal details, work history, education, skills, projects, publications, organizations, summaries, style settings, and exports.
- Job and application information, such as job descriptions, required skills, company names, role details, generated cover letters, and tailoring choices.
- Shared-link and comment information when you publish a resume link or invite others to comment.
- Support messages or other information you send when contacting Omnitae.
Billing information
Stripe handles paid checkout, payment methods, subscriptions, invoices, receipts, tax calculation where applicable, and billing portal sessions. Omnitae stores billing status and related metadata needed to show your plan, credits, invoices, receipts, and access level.
How Omnitae uses data
- To create, save, edit, export, share, and tailor resumes.
- To provide AI-assisted suggestions, analysis, summaries, rewrites, cover letters, and import parsing when you request those features.
- To manage accounts, authentication, subscriptions, credits, billing history, support, security, abuse prevention, and product reliability.
- To understand whether important product flows work, using privacy-conscious analytics settings.
AI processing
- Omnitae may use configured AI providers, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or an internal NLP service, to complete user-requested resume workflows.
- Relevant resume content, job descriptions, generated drafts, and instructions may be sent to those providers when needed to complete the specific AI feature you requested.
- Do not include information you do not want processed by AI features. Review generated content before relying on it.
Analytics posture
Omnitae is configured to use PostHog in a limited way: cookieless mode is enabled, autocapture is disabled, automatic pageview and pageleave capture are disabled, exception capture is disabled, and session recording is disabled. Omnitae opts out of analytics capture when the browser reports Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track.
Service providers
Omnitae may use service providers for hosting, databases, authentication, billing, analytics, AI processing, email, storage, logging, and security. These providers process information so Omnitae can operate the product and requested features.
Retention and deletion
Omnitae keeps account, resume, billing, credit, and activity records for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with obligations, or support user-requested exports and deletion. Some billing records may need to remain with Stripe or in Omnitae records for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, or compliance reasons.
Your choices
- You can edit or delete resume content from your account.
- You can cancel billing through the Stripe billing portal when you have a paid subscription.
- You can request help with access, deletion, export, or privacy questions through support.
