Connect Claude and other AI assistants to Omnitae

Once connected, an assistant like Claude can list and read your resumes, create a tailored resume from one of your masters, run Omnitae's tailoring against a job description you paste into the chat, export a finished resume as PDF or Word, and check or update your application statuses.

Everything runs through the same Omnitae features you use in the app. Tailoring spends your AI credits at the normal rate, applications lock and snapshot the same way, and nothing the assistant does can touch another account's data.

In Claude, open Settings → Connectors → Add custom connectorand enter Omnitae's server URL:

Your browser will open an Omnitae page asking you to sign in (if you aren't already) and to approve the connection. The approval screen lists exactly what the assistant is asking to do — reading resumes, exporting files, updating applications, and so on. Approve it and you're done; the assistant stays connected until you disconnect it.

Any other MCP-compatible assistant works the same way: point it at the URL above and complete the same approval flow.

Connected assistants are available on the Pro and Writer plans. If you're on the free plan, the approval screen will let you know before anything is shared.

Omnitae never shares your password with a connected assistant. The connection uses OAuth — the same standard behind "Sign in with Google" — so the assistant only ever holds a revocable token scoped to the permissions you approved.

You can disconnect at any time from the assistant's own settings (in Claude, remove the connector), and every action a connected assistant takes is logged on our side. If anything ever looks off, disconnecting immediately cuts off access.
